Since the day Laurie Pratt first met my husband and me, she had worked tirelessly to find us our “perfect mountain home”. After efforts grew to almost a year, and too many homes toured to even count, I started feeling guilty of how much of her time she had dedicated to us. We were living in Florida & could only tour homes a few days at a time when our work allowed. So, we would put together a list of homes we wanted to see, and Laurie would “make it work”! In addition to her knowledge of the area, ability to juggle client schedules and booking times, she also has expertise in finding hidden flaws in the homes that would have cost us an incredible amount of money to fix. She & her husband have rehabbed many homes & their experience became invaluable when searching for our retirement home. We were thrilled when we finally found a home that both my husband & I loved. Laurie continued to work with us, so that closing from Florida went flawlessly. We owe her so much gratitude and have never worked with anyone (in our several previous home purchases), who was so dedicated to finding us a home that was such a perfect fit for us!

The biggest issue with finding a realtor is finding one that you can trust. Laurie Pratt is that person. My wife and I were looking to venture into Western North Carolina and had very limited information about the area, market, and regional home ownership specifics. Laurie and her husband Craig were so knowledgeable and the communication timeline was in most cases minutes. I have never had a realtor go to a house on our behalf and ensure everything that was outlined in the listing was represented accurately. I was part of the process and everything went so smoothly I wish everybody could have this experience. If you are even thinking of moving to Western N.C.
